Your friendly Balinese driver will welcome you at the airport with a welcome package to celebrate the start of your honeymoon. Depending on traffic, it takes around 2 hour drive to get to the beautiful countryside of Sidemen, but it is worth the drive! You’ll start your honeymoon directly in an authentic Bali region full of natural beauty.

You probably would prefer to rest after a long flight. Fortunately a comfy Sundary Villa is waiting for you at the highly rated 4-star Samanvaya resort.
You’ll be done with your jetlag in no time in the hot tub and pool overlooking the rice fields and on-premise Asri restaurant (which is really good!).

Its your first full day in Bali, lets take it easy! Take some more time to enjoy the resort, you won’t have to leave at all! In the afternoon we have arranged a Couple Massage in the Ananda Spa and a 3-Course Dinner with candles and flower decorations. If you do want to explore already, there is a lot to see in walking distance of the resort. Your booklet contains tips for the surrounding area. Otherwise, your real adventure starts tomorrow!

The best (and most spectacular) way to see the Sidemen region is by raft on the Telaga Waja river. Your driver will pick you up after breakfast for a 2.5-hour rafting experience. The 14KM long river is quite mellow with a few more rapid bits and one 4 meter high dam to slide from, but the most unique part of this experience is the scenery. Expect jungle, waterfalls and rice fields! At the end of the rafting, you will enjoy a simple Indonesian buffet lunch (included). There are showers too and towels will be provided, so you have a chance to refresh.

In the afternoon, you can pick an activity of choice: Make your own silver jewelry in a crafts workshop or a visit the “Insta-famous” scenic Gembleng Waterfall. You’ll be dropped back at the hotel before dinner. Your booklet contains restaurant suggestions nearby in case you want to try something different than the hotel restaurant.

You’ve been in Bali for a few days now, but haven’t seen any beach yet! After breakfast, your driver will take you to one of our favorite beaches in Bali, a real gem: the white-sand Virgin Beach. On the way to the beach, you will make a stop at Tirta Gangga, a former royal palace with beautiful water gardens. Around noon you will arrive at Virgin Beach.

There are many simple Balinese and Indonesian restaurants on the beach where you can rent a beach bed and get a local lunch, so bring a bit of cash.
Your driver will drop you back to the hotel whenever you feel like heading back (but no later than 5PM).

Today you will leave Sidemen and head to your next hotel in Mount Batur. No need to rush, we will pick you up around 11AM. Your driver will make a stop at Besakih Great Temple, the most important and holiest Hindu temples in all of Bali. Built almost a kilometer above sea level up the slopes of Mount Agung, this 15th century complex is worth exploring.

A lunch stop is made at Okuta, a cafe with panoramic views over the Batur region, where you can choose any main dish and drink from the menu (included). You will arrive at your Mount Batur hotel in the afternoon - enough time to enjoy your Private Hot Spring, but we suggest going to bed early to wake up in time for the sunrise hike…

Multiple couples have told us that the sunrise hike up Mount Batur was the highlight of their trip. At 3:30am, you are expected to meet your private guide at a meeting point 5 minutes from your hotel. He will provide you helmets with flashlights for the 1.5 hour ascend in the dark up Mount Batur. Once at the top, you will watch the sun rise from the East, a spectacular sight. On bright days you can see as far as Rinjani Mountain in Lombok.

Couples that don’t feel like hiking can upgrade to a Sunrise Jeep trip, just let us know. You’ll be back down again around 8AM, we suggest having a nap first! In the afternoon, you may have energy to check out the Batur Natural Hot Springs, a 5 minute walk from your hotel. They get very busy in the morning after the hike, so the afternoon is a good time to visit.

Your stay in Batur does not include breakfast, so your driver will pick you up early and make a stop at one of the coffeeshops on the Batur Ridge for breakfast (not included), before continuing to Padang Bai port. We have booked tickets with the most reliable ferry operator to take you to Gili Trawangan (“Gili T”), part of the Gili Islands, with a large fastboat.

You will arrive at Gili Trawangan island after a 2-hour ferry ride in the afternoon. The small island does not allow motorized traffic, the only way to get around is by foot, bycycle or horsecart. Fortunately your stay includes bicycles, so you’ll easily be able to explore all beaches and areas of the island. Gili T features a lively main street with restaurants, shops and bars, but your hotel is on the calmer side of the island on a perfect spot to watch the sunset (it even has its own simple beach club!).
Into nightlife? Gili Trawangan has parties going on every night. While your hotel is a bit away from the action, it is easy to head to town for drinks!

In the morning, discover the underwater world of the Gili Islands on a private 4-hour snorkeling boat trip. We suggest leaving early (7:30AM) to beat the crowds, but a more relaxed 9AM departure time is possible too.Your boat trip uses a simple boat with glass bottom, and will will stop at many spots, and you’ll be able to snorkel with large turtles and along beautiful coral reefs.

In the afternoon we have secured day beds for you at La Cala Beachclub, where you will have 1 million Indonesian Rupia (around US$ 70) free to spend on food and drinks included.

After breakfast, you’ll head back to Bali by ferry, where your private driver will pick you up again. On your way back you have two options: choose between a sunset dinner with grilled fish and seafood on Jimbaran Beach, or a tour to the Sababay winery followed by a tasting session (4 glasses of wine with a light set menu).
After you finished your dinner experience, your driver will take you to check-in at your hotel on the cliffs near Uluwatu.

Yesterday was very active, so today is a romantic day. We’ll give you some time to relax and enjoy your new hotel in the morning. The hotel has a pool area with spectacular cliff views overlooking the ocean as well as a small private beach that can be reached by stairs (worth checking out!).

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a romantic couple massage at Senses Spa, followed by a romantic flower bath in a private pool, while you can watch the sun set into the Indian Ocean.

You won’t have to leave the resort at all today, as there is a restaurant with Asian and Western dishes on-site too (not included). If desired, we can arrange transport to Uluwatu town too (not included).

You can choose an activity in the morning: either a private beginner surf lesson, or a visit to 121-meter tall Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue towering over South Bali, with tickets to the top of the statue included (amazing views!).

You’ll have a few more hours to enjoy the facilities in your hotel before your driver will pick you up around 3PM for your final sunset in Uluwatu.
Your driver will take you to Uluwatu Temple on the cliffs. This is where you will witness a spectacular traditional Balinese Kecak Fire Dance Performance while the sun sets in the distance. Watch out for the monkeys roaming around the Temple Complex!

Afterwards, the driver can either drop you at the hotel or in Uluwatu town for more varied restaurant options and nightlife (in that case its best to get a separate taxi back to your hotel).

Unfortunately no honeymoon can last forever… Based on the departure time of your flight, your driver will pick you up at the hotel and drop you off at the airport. We suggest leaving 3.5 hours before international flights, as traffic can sometimes be bad. You’ll probably arrive too early but we rather not have you miss your flight!
If you want, the driver can make a stop at a massive souvenir shop along the way to the airport, where you can find much better valued memories and gifts than at the airport itself. In that case, we suggest leaving the hotel 4 hours before your flight.
